I don’t usually write about clothes or fashion but my good friend Rory from Eat Drink Run Fun has been telling me for quite a while to add some clothing posts to the blog. After months of him talking in my ear, today I have decided to listen. I got some great items in H&M over the last few weeks and really wanted to share them with you. All of the items come in sizes 6-16.
The first dress I bought is from the Coachella range. I love floral prints on black and this type of pattern is my absolute favourite. The dress is just above the knee so not too short and is two tiered with a shorter panel at the top. It is a great summer dress and I love it with a long necklace and black kimono. The dress is €14.99.
My next dress is black with white leaves. The straps on it almost make the dress feel like a halter neck. I think the pattern is so pretty. I really do think this dress would be lovely on all body types. I’m not a skinny girl and have the same worries and struggles as most other women when it comes to body image but I do feel nice in this dress. It is a bargain at €9.99. If the pattern isn’t for you or indeed if you want to buy more of these, there are a couple of other prints to choose from.
I really like this pretty little summer top and I think the pattern on it is really cute and goes really well with a pair of faded skinny jeans. It is €9.99 and again there are other patterns and prints to choose from.
I hate my arms, they are never ever on show and I really struggle during the summer months finding something to cover them without roasting me to death in the process. Once I found this black kimono I bought a few of them as they are perfect for what I need. I have so many they have become a bit of a uniform but I don’t care. The kimono comes in sizes S-L. I saw that they also have them in blue so I may have to purchase some of those too. They are €12.99 and well worth it.
Finally I got some new earrings. I am addicted to earrings and I must have well over 100 pairs. I just love them. I got this pair in Paris so I’m not sure if they are in stock in Ireland but they were €7.99 and I really like them.
I hope you like my first style post. I’d love to know what your favourite summer items are in the comments.
