It is no secret that I’m obsessed with Halloween. It is my favourite time of year and I like to go all out and be as Halloweeny as possible. This includes my nails. Last year I went to Caroline’s Beauty Room in Rush for some fantastic Frankenstein’s Monster nails to go with my costume. They lasted ages and I loved them.
This year I knew I wanted to go back to Caroline to Halloween-i-fy my claws. There is no more welcoming place than Caroline’s salon. I’ve said before that I’m not great at going for treatments but Caroline’s is so warm and lovely that it is impossible not to relax.
This year I wanted a mix of Halloween characters so I discussed some ideas with Caroline and here’s what we came up with. They are regular nail varnish rather than a gel or shellac (that’s what I wanted). Aren’t they amazing?
I absolutely love them and since I’ve had them done so many people have commented and asked me about them. Everyone has a favourite. So far most people seem to favour the mummy although I think my favourite might be the vampire.
